Retired Special Agent and Veteran Undercover Operative with the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, New York Times Best-Selling author, and Public Speaker.

Jay Dobyns, author of his most recent book entitled Catching Hell, raises the bar of survival mindset for street cops, first responders and their families. His honest and candid style offers not a rehashing of his glory stories but of real world scenarios that he has confronted and overcome. He offers practical and innovative solutions how to be in control of the extreme challenges that face our law enforcement in todays world. Dobyns earnestly seeks to serve the community that he was a part of for 27 years. Jay is perhaps best known for his landmark effort against the notorious Hells Angels. He was the first lawman to defeat the gangs, engaging in multi-layered security measures to get inside and become a member of their legendary Skull Valley charter. Jays book about that investigation – No Angel, My Harrowing Undercover Journey to the Inner Circle of the Hells Angels is a New York Times and International bestseller. His follow up book – Catching Hell, A True Story of Abandonment and Betrayal – is a bestselling memoir that details the event of his life and career. Jays Catching Hell training for law enforcement groups and his Dent the Universe program are delivered nationwide. His work with law enforcement and first responders has gained national attention and the respect of those he seeks to help and serve.

Team lead with the Seattle Fire Departments Critical Incident Stress management Team, Public Speaker at Red Star Cluster LLC

Seattle Firefighter, Mike Washington has spent the last 29 years responding to fiery infernos and horrific car wrecks, being called to a school shooting, and arriving on the scene of a massive, deadly mudslide. He served as an active-duty and reserve Marine for more than two decades and was deployed four times, including to Iraq and Afghanistan. Said of “Top” Washington, “This is a guy that understands exactly what firefighters deal with and live with because he has been there”. Mike counsels firefighters and says admittedly, “As firefighters, as law enforcement, as military, we try to play that tough image,” he says “I’m tough – and I’m good to go. We wouldn’t share if we’re having a hard time dealing with something. We internalize it.” Mikes personal experience and a tremendous personal loss has taught him how to overcome and persevere when faced with insurmountable chaos and challenges. He knows that if given the right tools and mindset, there is enormous opportunity to grow.
