PTSD Foundation Is Bringing Struggle Well to the PNW!

We are so excited to announce that with the help of Boulder Crest Foundation, and a generous grant from Lockheed Martin, we are bringing Struggle Well Training to Gig Harbor, WA this December! This 1 day course will focus on two main objectives; normalizing struggle, and leveraging struggle to be “of better service to ourselves, our families, communities and our country.” (Source: Boulder Crest Foundation)

What Is The Objective of Struggle Well?

The objective of Struggle Well Training is to enable participants to prepare, practice, and implement an individualized plan for personal growth by transforming struggle into strength, enabling them to be of continued service to themselves, their family, their work, their community, and their country.

The Approach

Struggle Well Training is based on the proven framework of Post-traumatic Growth, which features five phases, built on an environment of trust and connection.

The Impact

Struggle can serve as a catalyst for growth and transformation, if used properly. The purpose of Struggle Well training is to enable you to grow, which occurs in five areas:

December 10th, 2024 – Gig Harbor, WA

This opportunity will take place on December 10th from 9:00am-4:00pm at the Best Western – Wesley Inn in Gig Harbor, WA, and is available to active duty, veterans, and first responders at NO COST. Lunch will be provided from BBQ2U, and *Pre-Registration is open NOW by completing a brief demographic survey at https://forms.office.com/r/G16wKJ0LKK
