Where One PATHH Ends, Another Begins: Embracing New Journeys With Purpose
The Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation Says “Farewell” to Beloved Toby and Susan Moore, But Has Open Hearts As They Welcome Local Treasure Saudi McVea As Program Director.
As we bid farewell, the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to Toby and Susan Moore for their remarkable contributions over the past four years. Their dedication has been instrumental in launching and successfully executing our Warrior PATHH Program in the Pacific Northwest.
As Program Director, Toby’s leadership built a formidable team of veterans and law enforcement professionals who embody the best of those guiding and coaching their peers toward more purposeful and passionate lives. Susan’s expertise was pivotal in shaping our TRX strength training program, an essential part of the curriculum that fosters both physical and mental growth, encouraging participants to prioritize wellness at home.
Toby’s vision has always been to make the Pacific Northwest a center of excellence for Post-Traumatic Growth. Wherever his path leads, we hope that Toby and Susan can reflect with pride on the profound impact they’ve had. Their work has touched the lives of over 300 warriors, leaving a legacy of hope, strength, and transformation. Thank you, Toby and Susan, for your extraordinary service and commitment.
We are thrilled to announce Saudi McVea as our new Warrior PATHH Program Director.
A retired U.S. Air Force CMSgt and combat veteran with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, Saudi specialized in Aeromedical Evacuation during her distinguished military career. Her deeply personal journey led her to attend the Warrior PATHH program in Virginia in 2020, an experience she found transformative and life-changing.
When the Foundation prepared to launch PATHH in the Pacific Northwest, Saudi’s unwavering belief in the program and its mission made her a natural choice as one of the original Guides upon her retirement from the Air Force.
Saudi’s leadership, compassion, empathy, and strength are the heart of our program’s success. Her genuine love for her brothers and sisters in service, combined with her unique ability to connect with warriors who are hurting or feeling hopeless, allows her to guide them toward healing. She embodies Post-Traumatic Growth and inspires others to follow her lead.
“We know that Saudi and her team will have an incredible impact on those who walk through our doors, embarking on their new path and journey of hope and healing. Congratulations, Saudi. We are so grateful for you and the opportunity to serve alongside you.”
– Leslie Mayne, Founder, Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation
Congratulations, Saudi, and thank you for your dedication and unwavering commitment to our mission.
