We are extremely proud to re-broadcast the 2015 Prayer Breakfast featuring retired SEAL TEAM 6 Senior Chief James Hatch. Wounded while on the hunt for Cpl Bowe Bergdahl, Sr Chief James Hatch will share his story and devotion to military K-9’s, out of devotion to Spike, his charge that saved his life that fateful night.

Recently interviewed on Anderson Cooper 360, Senior Chief Petty Officer James Hatch is a 25 year Navy wounded veteran and recipient of the Silver Star Medal, is the Founder and President of both Spikes Consulting and Spikes K9 Fund, a non-profit dedicated to raising funds for better gear for our service dogs and providing after-care when they become sick or injured. Senior Chief Hatch served 22 years with the SEAL Teams, and several as the Team Leader of our most elite group of SEALs based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In addition, Army Infantryman Captain Josh Brandon introduced at last year’s Prayer Breakfast via his Full Ruck video, shared his experiences of 3 tours in Iraq and how mountaineering has played a major role in his healing. Presently doing yeoman’s work with Project Cohort, Brandon headed up the Sierra Club Military Outdoors Adventure Program that the Foundation supports.

A proud partner since our Foundation’s inception, the USO’s Don Leingang, Executive Director of the USO Northwest and Retired Commander, US Navy, also shared his articulate message about today’s Soldier. Of his many achievements as Executive Director, his most recent has been dedicated to restoring the aging and well-worn USO Sea-Tac Facility. It is now a stunning and beautiful example of the USO’s devotion to making Soldiers and their families feel welcome and loved.

Full of powerful stories, plenty of moving live music, and the interviewing prowess of Kenny Mayne, this was a Prayer Breakfast not to be missed.
